There is always going to be a big market for jail breaking phones. With those big markets comes big potential for big profits.
When apples firmware 3.1.3 first debuted, the iphone Dev team was quick on there response, that was, there isn’t any jailbreaks for 3.1.3 yet, hold off for now. Pretty black and white if you ask me, they also when on to explain that there are many companies that are scamming people with software that can “jailbreak” any firmware, the only catch is that you must pay for it. Basically exploiting people who don’t have the right resources of info and want to jailbreak or unlock there phone.
It seems this could be the case here also. A new “jailbreaker” has arrived on the scene, its call GoldRa1n. And it claims that its able to jailbreak the ios 4 firmware.
I personally cannot confirm that this works or not, I just don’t want anyone to get scammed by bogus jailbreakers.
So I would wait until the Dev-Team announces some info on ios 4 and the iphone 4
